Micro Wedding | Madisonville, KY
Rhonda and Keith held their micro wedding and wedding reception at their home in Madisonville, KY on June 16th, 2021.
I first want to say congratulations to Rhonda and Keith. Your micro wedding was absolutely beautiful, and it was an honor to capture your memories on your special day.
Even though this was a micro wedding, it didn’t feel like it due to all of the hard work and preparation Keith and Rhonda put into the small details.
Getting Ready & Details
I started taking images of all the small details when I first arrived.
I then started getting images of Rhonda getting ready with the help of Ashton and Brittany.
There were some very sweet and emotional moments that were captured during this time and I can’t wait for everyone to see them in the full gallery.
Everyone kept coming back to see Rhonda in her wedding dress as they arrived, you could easily tell they were excited for her and couldn’t wait for the ceremony.
Keith and Rhonda chose to not do a first look and Keith wouldn’t see Rhonda in her wedding dress until she walked down the aisle.
The Wedding Ceremony
Keith and Rhonda built a covered porch on the back of the house during the pandemic to have their wedding ceremony at home.
I think it was a great idea and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful with all of the decorations.
Rhonda walked out the back door and was helped down the steps by her three children Austin, Ashton, and Aaron.
I was able to capture Keith’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride for the first time in her wedding dress. I can’t wait for everyone to see his reaction in the full gallery.
Rhonda and Keith’s close friend Marshall was the officiant for the wedding. Marshall did a great job for it being his first time as an Officiant.
The Wedding Reception
Immediately following the wedding ceremony, Keith and Rhonda went inside with their witnesses to sign their wedding certificate.
Rhonda and Keith then cut their wedding cake and fed each other a piece.
I’m not sure if they intended to rub it in each other’s face or not but they remembered that they had more pictures to take later and decided it was best not to.
Rhonda’s daughter, Ashton made their wedding cake and it looked like it came from a professional bakery. Everyone said it tasted amazing!
We then went outside to take family portraits and some romantic portraits of the newlyweds.
Rhonda and Keith’s first dance was a very sweet moment to capture, they were smiling at each other the entire song.
There were also some great moments captured when Rhonda danced with her dad and Keith danced with both his mom and later danced with Rhonda’s mom.
Finishing Thoughts
It was an honor to be a small part of Keith and Rhonda’s big day.
Everyone was so nice and accomodating, they really made me feel like I was part of the family.
The love that Rhonda and Keith have for each other was easy to see.
I wish them nothing but the best in their shared journey through life.
