Freedom Point at Liberty Park | Clarksville, TN
Madeline and James had their wedding ceremony and reception at Freedom Point at Liberty Park in Clarksville, TN on March 14, 2021.
Leading up to the wedding day, the weather looked like it was going to be raining all day long.
Not only did it not rain on their wedding day, but it was overcast, creating a great environment for pictures.
I just want to first say Congratulations to the newlyweds!
To Madeline and James, may you live as long as you like and have all you like for as long as you live.
Wedding Ceremony & Reception Details
I arrived a little early because I wanted to get a wide shot of Freedom Point from across the water.
Some couples really appreciate these smaller details and I try to get this wider shot if the venue calls for it.
Thankfully, the overcast clouds provided a huge softbox to get Freedom Point at its best, the clouds also provided some great interest in the photo.
I then started taking pictures of all the small details for the ceremony and reception before the ceremony began.
The Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held outside underneath the main building at Freedom Point.
James had not yet seen Madeline that day and I was able to capture his expression when he finally saw her walking down the aisle.
The ceremony was very sweet and I was honored to capture the love that they have for each other.
Just Married Pictures
After we took pictures of the bridal party and family, we took some romantic “Just Married” pictures.
I tried to take full advantage of the venue, the overcast sky, and the beautiful couple.
James and Madeline were very photogenic and fun to work with.
Their friends and family also joined in on the fun and took it to a whole new level which made for some great candid shots.
The reception
Immediately following the “Just Married” pictures was the wedding reception.
By that time, the DJ had arrived and everyone started to dance.
James was by far the best dancer there and he wasn’t afraid to show it.
The toasts and first dances provided some very heartfelt moments with some people needing a tissue or two.
Finishing Thoughts
I felt very honored to be a small part of James and Madeline’s big day.
Everyone there treated me like family and I can’t wait for everyone to see the full gallery.
The love that I was able to capture between Madeline and James can certainly be seen in every photo.
